Bearings
Objectives:
Grade E – Use three-figure bearing notation.
Grade E and D – Measure the bearing from one place to another.
Grade E and D – Plot a bearing.
Grade C – Calculate bearings for return journeys.
Grade C – Draw and interpret scale diagrams to represent journeys.
Success Criteria: Able to plot a bearing and calculate using bearings.

Understand Pythagoras’ Theorem.
Understand Pythagoras’ Theorem.
Calculate the hypotenuse of a right-angled triangle.
Solve problems using Pythagoras’ Theorem.
Calculate the length of a shorter side in a right-angled triangle.
Success Criteria: You will be able to solve a problem using Pythagoras' Thorem.
